Misc. Cavy Breeds:

Here you will find a few of our current rarities. These were cavies that I
 couldn't resist adding to my herd. Breeding will be done with them very carefully & on an "experimental" level. I strive to keep my lines as pure as possible according
 to what is termed as "legal" by the ARBA & ACBA.

** This guy is beautiful!! His sister was equally as nice & as much as I wanted to keep her,a very nice
 lady in Northeastern OH loved her too,so she went to live with her. Their mom was born here
 & had never produced an Alpaca before this litter. I'm still unsure of where it came but I never
 received pedigree info on the sows parents (which I bred to produce her) so I'm thinking it laid in
 the dam's pedigree beyond the 1st Gen. A welcome addtion as well as a surprise :)

Marshmallow is a retired sow. She had several litters here when I raised Abys as I was hoping
 to breed her with some good quality Abys & pull out the BEW gene. She is the only BEW Aby
 I've ever seen & I've seen 100's if not 1000,Abys over the years. In her last litter,she had 7 pups
all of which I had to help deliver due to weak,non-productive contractions (long story).
None of her babies survived so I retired her. She is now a nurse mate to moms that are pregnant.
 She loves "mothering" & is a big help with deliveries & cleaning newborn pups :)
